泰國除了有反盈拉政府示威之外，這幾天還有許多農民走上街頭，抗議政府遲遲未能根據先­前的稻米典當計畫，給付給百萬農民購買稻米的超過四億泰銖費用，米款拖欠超過六個月，­讓許多農民生活面臨困境，新的稻米產季將要開始，但他們卻沒有資金進行農作，甚至已經­有三位農民因此而自殺身亡。（完整影音報導）

泰國稻米因為銷售量不佳，而政府基金也用謦，導致泰國政府繳不出米款。

泰國當局部屬重重警力，禁止抗議農民進入商業部。
