【冬奧】短道男1000　呂明龍無緣複賽

2014年索契冬季奧運臺灣出賽最後1人，21歲加拿大、新竹客家混血滑冰好手呂明龍(Mackenzie Blackburn)在18:25起短道競速滑冰男子1000公尺預賽，和加拿大的奧利維爾(Jean Olivier)、匈牙利班斯(Beres Bence)和荷蘭的史金奇(Knegt Sjinkie)同組，以1分26秒814名列分組第3，無緣複賽。
 
短道競速滑冰男子500公尺有32人參加，預賽分8組，每組取前2名晉級複賽；隨後各階段也都是4人1組取前2，直到最後4人決賽。
 
短道速滑除場地比長道速滑小，也允許出發後搶內道，彎道技術和戰術運用更重要，速度並不是決定成績唯一要件，和自由車賽性質比較接近。(王毓健／綜合報導)
