金立於中國發表厚度僅 5.5mm 的智慧型手機 Elife S5.5，售價約為新台幣 11,200 元。
金立在 2014 年 2 月 19 日發表 Elife S5.5，該手機厚度僅 5.5mm，比先前號稱最薄的 Vivo X3 的 5.75mm 還纖薄，預計會率先推出 3G 版本，售價為 2,250 人民幣，約為新台幣 11,200 元，而 4G 版本則預計在 6 月推出。
Elife S5.5 採用 5 吋螢幕，內建 1.7GHz 四核心處理器、2GB RAM，搭配 1,300 / 500 萬畫素雙鏡頭，電池容量為 2,300mAh，據稱能提供一整天的續航力，但仍有待實測驗證。
金立表示，這款智慧型手機會在全球共 40 個國家推出，不知道是否會在台灣上市；若有相關訊息，VR-Zone 會為大家持續關注。
