美國財政部周三報告指出，美國政府預算1月結算出現赤字100億美元。

本會計年度以來，赤字較去年同期下降了37%，稅收上升8%，支出下降3%。

1月，政府稅收為2960億美元，較去年同期上升9%，政府支出為3060億美元，上升14%。

2013年1月，政府出現盈餘30億美元。
