中國國家統計局24日公布2013年最新統計數字，中國總人口為13億6072萬人，年增668萬人，其中城鎮常住人口為7.3億，佔總人口53.73％。

人口中，16歲以下青少年佔17.5％，60歲以上佔14.9％。中國去年的就業人口為7.7億，包括2.7億農民工，城鎮就業人數逾3.8億，城鎮失業率約為4.05％。（大陸中心／綜合報導）
