金鶯灑15億元　簽下強投希梅尼茲

據美國媒體《MASNSports》網站報導，巴爾的摩金鶯今天宣布以4年4800萬美元(約14.5億台幣)簽下強投希梅尼茲(Ubaldo Jimenez)，不過由於印地安人之前已經對他提出合格報價(Qualifying Offer)，這也代表金鶯將喪失選秀權。
 
希梅尼茲去年成績13勝9敗、防禦率3.30，投182.2局飆出194次三振，而他生涯至今最佳成績是2010年在落磯時期，投出19勝8敗、防禦率2.88。另外金鶯同時也正式宣布，以3年575萬美元(約1.74億台幣)簽下通過體檢的南韓投手尹錫珉。(賴德剛／綜合報導)
