大如3個足球場　小行星今早掠過地球

一顆有3個足球場般大的小行星，將於台灣時間今早10時，以時速43000公里掠過地球。該顆叫2000 EM26的小行星，將在地球300萬公里外掠過，距離差不多是地球與月球距離的9倍，以天文學標準，算是十分接近，而如此巨大的小行星，足以造成傷害。

路透報導，2000 EM26這次掠過地球，距離去年2月15日隕石襲俄羅斯約一年。一顆10噸重的流星當日穿越大氣層，經燃燒後解體並化成隕石雨從天而降，火球高速墜落俄羅斯里雅賓斯克州（Chelyabinsk），隕石所造成的衝擊波和巨大聲震，震碎了很多建築物的玻璃窗，造成約1200人受傷。（林奐成／綜合外電報導）
