 刑期太長想求死！ 台中受刑人掐死獄友

台中監獄17日發生一則受刑人掐死獄友的事件，一名鄭姓受刑人與曾姓受刑人同樣患有精神疾病，2人同住一間房，鄭男因自己刑期還有19年，想一死百了，才會下手掐死曾男。
據報導，鄭男患有重度憂鬱症及感情型精神病，曾男則罹患幻想型精神病，因2人病情穩定而分配住同間獄房，但最近鄭男認為自己的刑期還有19年，實在太長，想要一死百了，才會將室友殺死。
獄方人員在今天凌晨2時左右，聽到曾男的呼救聲，趕過去查看時，曾男已經陷入昏迷，被緊急送醫急救後仍宣告不治。獄方目前已經將鄭男隔離，並著手調查釐清案情。
